JANET AIRLINES, THE AIRLINE THAT NEVER SOLD A TICKET

Updated: 5 days ago

Once cleared for departure, the Boeing 737 disappears from the radar as soon as they take off…  there is no way to know where is heading to.

And you might be wondering, can they do this? Yes they can. Janet airlines is an operator specialiced in personnel transport belonging to the United States Air Force.

It focuses on transporting military personnel, Department of Defense civilians and, contractors to Special Access Program Facilities (SAPF).

Most of the flights depart from “The Gold Coast” Terminal at Las Vegas McCarran International Airport, a private terminal used only and exclusively used for Janet Airlines covert operations. This terminal is not accessible to the general public, it is a highly secured terminal and street level view is mostly blocked by a fence.

The flights primarily serve classified locations in the Nevada area including:

-              Area 51 (referred to as Station 3)

-              Tonopah Test Range TTR (referred to as Station 7)

And other secondary bases are Edwards Air Force base, Palmdale Regional airport/ USAF Plant 42 (referred to as Station 1) or the Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake.

Area 51 is Janet´s most famous and frequent destination. A highly secure space designated for handling National security classified projects. This includes research, development, and testing of advanced military aircraft and technologies.

Now you understand why the flights are not trackable/ or traceble? on Flight Radar.

So what else do we know about this secret airline?

They have 6 boeings 737-600 and 5 Beechcraft models, they typically operate during week days and make around 20-25 round trips daily, transporting 1000-1500 workers.

And why would they do that? My conclusion is that workers don’t live in the compound (Area 51) or nearby towns, they have to take a plane to go to work everyday and, come back home at the end of the shift. How many people fly on a daily basis to attend work?

Their pilots receive a special training and must maintain their Top Secret security clearance throughout their employment. Military background we suspect.

Some interesting facts about Janet airlines:

  • The name “Janet” is unofficial and is believed to stand for “Just Another Non-Existent Terminal” or “Joint Air Network for Employee Transportation”.

  • Janet flights use the callsign “WWW” followed by a flight number when communicating with air traffic control.

  • The airline uses code names and encrypted communications that are not traceble.

  • Flight schedules and passenger manifests are highly classified.

  • Janet Airlines began operations in 1972, initially using Douglas DC-6 aircraft. The service gradually transitioned to Boeing 737-200s in the 1980s, and later to the current 737-600 models.

Their planes are easily recognisable by their distinctive red strip along the white fuselage

Despite its clandestine nature, Janet Airlines continues to fascinate aviation enthusiasts and conspiracy theorists alike, serving as a tangible link to some of America’s most secretive military installations.
